I’m a product designer in the Seattle area, with eight years in enterprise software. I started in marketing, which is why I still ask who something is for, and what it needs to change, before I ask what it should look like.
I do my best work close to the problem. I sit with the people who use the thing, map the system before I draw it, and show rough work early so nobody is surprised by it later. Looking for a senior seat on a team with real complexity to dig into.

How I got here
2013 to 2018
I started in marketing
Leading marketing at small companies taught me to start with the audience and to say one thing clearly. I still use both every day.
2018
Then I switched to product design
I wanted to shape the thing people actually use, not just how it was described. I trained, built a portfolio, and moved into product design at Access Development.
2018 onward
I kept going toward the complicated stuff
Perks and benefits, corporate travel, restaurant operations. Each one handed me a product with real logic under the surface and people who couldn’t afford for it to be confusing.
Away from the screen
I travel every chance I get. It’s the best ongoing design education I know of: unfamiliar systems, signs that almost make sense, and a steady supply of people who figured out how to get around before you did.
